Marketing and communications data: information contained in service requests, consultations, feedback, comments, chat messages, WhatsApp conversations, survey responses and preferences regarding marketing communications.
Technical data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, page views and other technical information collected when you interact with our booking platform or communications.
Transaction data: details of makeup services booked, package selections, add-on services, payment information such as transaction IDs and payment method details necessary to process bookings.
Event and service data: information relating to your event date, venue, timing preferences, number of people requiring services, trial session preferences, specific makeup looks desired, hair styling requirements, and draping or jewelry setting needs.
Visual content: photographs of makeup looks, before/after images (with consent), trial session photos, portfolio images, and any reference images you share for inspiration.
Health and safety information: details about allergies, skin sensitivities, recent facial treatments, medical conditions affecting makeup application, and any other health-related information relevant to service delivery.
Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies to collect technical information automatically when you interact with the Lyns platform.
We may also record and monitor communications such as WhatsApp messages, SMS, calls and video consultations to ensure service quality, resolve disputes, and maintain records for booking confirmation and customer support.

Service-Related Content
Customers may share makeup inspiration photos, reference images, feedback, or other content with Lyns. Any portfolio images or service-related content created during our services may be used for business purposes with your explicit consent. We cannot control how third parties might use content shared on social media or other platforms, and therefore accept no liability for misuse of content. Please ensure any content you share complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on others' rights.
Disclosure and Sharing of Information
We limit access to personal information to personnel who need it to operate, improve or develop our services. We do not sell or share personal data except in the following circumstances:
- With CDSPL affiliates to support internal operations, financial and administrative functions, and service coordination across our beauty services division.
- With Lyns Artists when necessary to fulfill your booking including sharing your contact details, service requirements, venue location, timing, specific preferences, allergy information, and any other details required for quality service delivery. By booking with Lyns, you agree that we may share relevant booking and preference information with assigned artists.
- With third parties such as courts, regulators and law enforcement when disclosure is required to enforce our terms, protect our rights or respond to legal requests.
- With service providers including payment processors, booking management systems, communication platforms (WhatsApp Business, SMS providers), and marketing partners who help us coordinate services and communicate with customers. These providers are required to protect your data and comply with confidentiality obligations.
- With venue partners and event coordinators when necessary to coordinate service delivery at your event location.
- In connection with corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, financing or sale of assets related to the Lyns' business.
We do not intentionally share personal data with advertisers, though advertisers may infer certain details based on how their advertisements perform. We take measures to protect your data if we transfer information outside India.
Artist Services and Compensation
Lyns Artists are certified professionals who provide services under our brand standards. Artist compensation and booking fees are managed separately from customer payments. Artists receive customer contact and service details necessary for appointment fulfillment but are bound by confidentiality agreements regarding customer information.
Third-Party Partnerships
Lyns may partner with venues, event planners, photographers, or other beauty service providers to offer comprehensive packages. Your personal information may be shared with these partners as necessary for coordinated service delivery and will be subject to their privacy policies as well. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of any third-party service providers involved in your event.
Messages and Notifications
We may use your contact details to provide booking confirmations, service reminders, preparation instructions, artist details, appointment updates, feedback requests, and promotional communications about Lyns services. We will never ask for sensitive personal information or payment details through informal communications. All service-related communication will be professional and relevant to your bookings.
Age Requirements
Lyns services are intended for customers aged 16 and older. For bridal or special occasion services for minors, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and be present during service delivery. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without parental consent. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor inappropriately, please contact us immediately.
Retention of Personal Information
